Answer: Hyper-V is a Windows Server 2008 role only.

Question: I am currently running Enterprise Server as my development desktop in order to have access to 64 bit Hyper-V test machines. Is there any way to enable hyper-V in 64 bit VISTA or 64 bit Windows 7 to get a 64 bit test and development environment?
Answer: No, and I do not know if that is something that is going to be planned in the future.

Question: After I have created dozens of Hyper-V guest test machines is there a spreadsheet or check list I should use to inventory what I have done to see if I am in compliance with the licensing requirements?
