Need some Windows 2003 R2 or Exchange SP2 knowledge? Come Visit me this week!

Where do I get to go this week?  I get to go to sunny Ohio this week, visiting the fantastic cities of Akron (Tuesday 1–31–2006) and Cincinnati (Thursday 2–2–2006) delivering Microsoft TechNet Events.  I will also have the pleasure of visiting Akron University (Tuesday evening) this week to deliver an Microsoft Campus Connection Event on Vista and Office 12 (so if you go to Akron University stop by).

What will I be talking about?  Fantastic question.  For the Microsoft TechNet Events I will be delivering the following 2 sessions from 8am to Noon:

Up Close and Personal with Windows Server 2003 R2

Experience the smart new features and practical enhancements of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2. Learn how R2 will ease the pain of branch server consolidation and tackle the challenges of Wide Area Network coverage with less expense, latency and fewer remote management headaches. We’ll start the session by covering exactly where R2 fits in the Windows development cycle. Next up, we’ll explore several usage scenarios, starting with the features that will simplify branch management and address specific customer pain points. You’ll also learn about Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and its starring role in identity management. Finally, we’ll wrap up with a discussion of storage management.

Enrich your IT Tool-box with Microsoft Technical Resources

Get set to explore a wide array of technical resources that will help you get more from your Microsoft products. From interactive web casts to personal article libraries and virtual test labs, Microsoft has a vast range of no-nonsense technical resources that will make it easier to evaluate, deploy and support the solutions that your company relies on each and every day. We’ll start with a basic overview of these materials, and then look at some specific usage scenarios with Server 2003 R2, Exchange 2003 SP2 and infrastructure management. You’ll see practical demonstrations and leave ready to achieve better results at every step of the planning and deployment process.
