Microsoft and Qualcomm working on integration

The number of devices on which Windows Mobile can be put on is set to increase as Microsoft and Qualcomm detail a partnership to get Windows Mobile working on Qualcomm chip sets,  more information here.

Enabling Windows Mobile to work with the Qualcomm MSM chip sets will make available devices that can “take advantage of the CDMA 2000, 1XEV-DO and UMTS (3g) modem features as well as the hardware accelerated multimedia capabilities,  multimegapixel camera support, 3–D graphics and Assisted-GPS”,  in a nutshell this means manufacturers can develop new and better smartphones given the user even more technology in their pocket while maintain a long battery life.

Sounds like great news to me!
