MAP Toolkit 9.3 Now Available!

We are pleased to announce the availability of version 9.3 of the Microsoft Assessment and Planning (MAP) Toolkit. This release of the MAP Toolkit helps increase the agility and cost effectiveness of deploying the latest Microsoft technologies. It includes hardware and infrastructure readiness assessments to help organizations plan their Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012 deployments. It also helps organizations assess their environment for Office 2013 and Office 365, track usage of Windows Server 2012, SharePoint Server 2013, and Exchange Server 2013, and preparing a migration to Windows Azure virtual machines. It includes hardware and infrastructure readiness assessments to help organizations plan their Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012 deployments.

    Hi Srinivas,
    I believe when getting the usage details from SQL Server it uses UAL and log parsing. However I am not sure once it gets the data about device/ user accessing from a device by IP address how does it map it back to a full dns / host name? In my case its just
    returning me IP addresses instead of FQDN.

    Hi, I can install MAP inside a Virtual Machine on VMWare? or is neccesary install MAP in a physical machiner? THanks

  4. @FOXSMITH Late response, but we run it virtually on Hyper-V, no problem running it so for years
