Office for Mac 2011 Service Pack 1

On April 12th, Office for Mac 2011 Service Pack 1 (SP1) was released. SP1 provides increased stability, security, and a few new features to the suite – including improved Outlook syncing support – as well as some performance enhancements. This update will enable calendar syncing between Outlook for Mac and Apple’s Sync Services. Customers will be able to sync their Outlook calendar as well as contacts, notes and tasks with any service or device that supports Sync Services, including their iPhone and iPad- which has been one of our top feature requests.

How to get the update?

All customers can access the update from the downloads page of the Office for Mac website. Customers who are using Microsoft Auto Update will get prompted that an update is available automatically.

Please see the Office for Mac blog post for more SP1 details.
