Azure Key Vault now in Australia
Hello Australia and New Zealand!
We are excited to announce general availability of Azure Key Vault in the Australia Southeast (Victoria) and Australia East (New South Wales) regions. Azure subscribers with billing addresses in Australia and New Zealand can now create key vaults in these regions and use them in their production scenarios.
Australia is a geo boundary in Azure. Keys and secrets that you store in Australia stay within Australia. You can copy keys across the two Australian regions, and only those two, using the Key Vault backup/restore feature.
With this update, Azure Key Vault is now available in all 15 public Azure regions, so you can keep your keys and application configuration secrets close to where your application runs.
