- During our session, we discussed the availability of the new Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows Server 2012. I’m pleased to announce that these tools are now available for download and installation on Windows 8 RTM. - Many of the IT Pros attending commented that they were pleasantly shocked at the level of virtualization, scalability and high availability now built into both Windows Server 2012 and the FREE Hyper-V Server 2012 – find out more about Hyper-V Server 2012 here.
- There was also a ton of interest around the new Windows-to-Go feature in Windows 8 Enterprise for creating a completely bootable, portable Windows 8 environment on a USB storage device. Get more details on Windows-to-Go here.
- The Cloud OS Launch Event is scheduled for Sept 25th in Columbus OH – this is the main launch event for Windows Server 2012, Visual Studio 2012 and Azure IaaS. Hope to see you all there!
