You don’t have a single icon on there? Was that just to take a nice screenshot, or do you really keep your desktop that clean?

My desktop has about 20 icons… 3 are applications and the rest are RDP shortcuts or "to do" files.

While Microsoft has done a wonderful job of providing a very clean Windows 7 desktop, my fear is that OEM’s like Dell, Sony, & Toshiba will see this as a bigger opportunity to install their "crapware"

I’ll be surprised if any OEM’s desktop will look as clean as the Retail versions of Windows 7

    Wanna takes bets?

I have attached the .jpg file.  It’s based on one of te wallpapers at  I just chopped the date off the bottom.

This new bot reminds me of Sauron in Lord of th Rings.

As for my actual desktop, I keep it pretty clean but for this screen capture I turned off everything I could.  The hard part was trying to figure out how to turn it all back on this morning.  Need more coffee.  Ha ha.

There IS a darker side to you, isn’t there?  And I thought that biker-type picture under your Microsoft-shirt pic was just a funny pic.
