Microsoft is very excited to announce the launching of a new online support experience catering to small businesses. The Support for Small Business (SSB) site is now live and provides small businesses with a seamless online support experience, making it even easier for these customers to get the support they need to resolve issues quickly, run their businesses better and connect with more customers.
Small Businesses are the engine that drives the regional economy in the Middle East and Africa region and we understand that this sector is poised for growth. Unfortunately, the SMB community in Middle East and Africa region has been felt under-served in recent years. Hence, Microsoft has launched the Support for Small Business portal in order to fulfill the support needs of SMBs in the region.
There’s no doubt that SMBs are increasingly competing in a global market, but they also come from diverse geographies and have very different needs, resources and goals. Cloud computing, mobility, big data and social technologies are key growth drivers in MEA. Hence, Microsoft’s Support for Small Business portal will provide advice and solutions will help SMBs take advantage of these trends and become the industry leaders in their region.
Through this portal, we want to ensure that new and existing small businesses are getting the maximum from their existing technology and ensure they know all about new technology that can help them to do more, with less.
The new portal includes several improvements including advanced search; fix it center of automated resolutions; live chat for help in finding the right resolution path; Microsoft Community integration help from peers and MVPs; Microsoft State and Partner integration to help customers get personal attention; authentication which allows saving of research/history; and content improvements, among others.
