DONATIONS FOR KIDS CAMP NEEDED: A great opportunity to support the future generation of our IT profession.

The AITP Student Chapter at the University of Texas at Arlington has established an IT Kids Camp that will be held on August 3-7. The Knowledge and Innovation Development for Students (KIDS) camp will host 36 kids - 7th/8th graders from Mission Arlington, an organization that supports “at risk” youth – giving them an opportunity to learn about computers, create applications, and have fun in IT! A special program on security will also be taught to help increase the awareness of the potential dangers to children on the internet.

Our student leaders at UTA have done an outstanding job in developing the camp curriculum and are now seeking financial assistance as well as gifts in kind (prizes/giveaways).

Donations may be made in any amount – go to www.aitpdallas.org and click on the PayPal icon. Select Kids Camp and enter the amount of your donation.

Please help us pay it forward by supporting this very important community outreach program. It will warm your heart along with 36 others!

I will be at the event volunteering my time!
