SQL server 2005 Reporting Services Webcast
Yesterday I did a webcast on SQL Server Reporting Services Here is the log of questions and answers:
Asked: and what was the blog? and his email address
Answered: https://blogs.technet.com/jweston/ John can be reached at jweston@microsoft.com
Asked: What's the maximum size of the list of values you can use?
Answered: None
Asked: In Small Business Server 2003 R2 after upgrading to SQL 2005 with Reporting Services I am having an install error issue. Can you provide a link detailing troubleshooting of this process? I have not been able to find a good one that has helped yet.
Answered: contact me directly and I will get support to help you solve this problem
Asked: Do you have any plans for a webcast on report rendering? Last time I tried Reporting Services, I wasn't able to generate output that could be used for printing. PDF had additional blank pages (all even pages), and I couldn't figure out how to fix the formatting ...
Answer: No webcast planned on report rendering specifically, there will be a SQL webcast this Friday on Data Mining. Check www.microsoft.com/webcast for more details.
Asked: Where does the drill through capability with Ent. SQL get determined, at the data source, or where the server the report is running?
Answer: This is determined at the SQL box running reporting services. I am not sure it has to be enterprise edition at all data sources.
