I am happy to share that I used the free exam offering during an internal Microsoft conference and passed two of the new SQL Server 2005 exams released last February:

  • Exam 70–431: TS: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - Implementation and Maintenance
  • Exam 70–447: UPGRADE: MCDBA Skills to MCITP Database Administrator by Using Microsoft SQL Server 2005

That’s actually the upgrade path for SQL Server 2000 MCDBAs and with those I got two new titles:

  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: SQL Server 2005
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Database Administrator
