Group Policy Preferences: A Quick Overview

My teammate, Chris Henley, put together this screencast on Group Policy Preferences.

So John, What Are Group Policy Preferences?

So glad I asked myself that J.  Group Policy preferences gives IT professionals, that's you and me,  the ability to configure, deploy, and manage operating system and application settings we previously were not able to manage using Group Policy.  Really?  Tell me more.  Some of the cool things you can do with Group Policy Preferences is map drives, schedule tasks, and configure Start menu settings.  What makes this REALLY useful is that in many cases Group Policy preferences is a better alternative to configuring the settings in Windows images or using logon scripts.

Yes!!!!  You can probably get rid of your logon scripts!!!  Check out the video and let Chris explain!!!!
