Microsoft’s Office 2007 desktop applications feature a new user experience, an integrated graphics engine, support for a new XML-based file format, numerous optional interdependencies with SharePoint Server 2007, and a host of optional online services, the latter two pointing to perhaps the most important aspects of Office 2007 desktop apps for enterprises.
