It features Real-Time Protection, a monitoring system that recommends actions against spyware when it's detected, and a new streamlined interface that minimizes interruptions and helps you stay productive.
I’ve been using Windows Defender for a few weeks now and I’ve been impressed with its performance, in particular I like it’s weekly reminders to scan my machine and confirm that everything is in working order.
Windows Media Player 11

Internet Explorer 7
IE7 has redesigned its interface to give you more of what you need and less of what you don't. The new look maximises the area of the screen that displays the webpage while reducing intrusive toolbars.
You can now open multiple websites in one IE window with tabbed browsing. This feature has really changed the way that I use IE.
IE 7 automatically shrinks text for improved printing , so all webpage content fits on your final printed page. Print options also include adjustable margins, customisable page layouts, removable headers and footers, and changeable print space.
