Taped presentations
I've been meaning for a while to put together a list of my taped presentations and web casts. More and more of them are turning up in various places, and it is kind of fun to watch actually. Here is a list. If you know of more, send me an e-mail and let me know and I will update this post.
- This one is just great. I'm at the end
- IT Forum 2004 Preconference. It was called "Practicing Better than Best" and was by Steve Riley and myself
- What Nobody Told You About Protecting SQL Server 2000 from IT Forum 2004
- How To Get Your Network Hacked in 10 Easy Steps (Anatomy of a Hack) from TechEd Australia 2005. This is a very recent version of this presentation. If you want to see how this session has evolved over the year I have been delivering it, this is the latest version.
- Security Myths from TechEd Australia 2005. This is probably my favorite session of all time, or at least one of my top three (the hacking session and my current "Is That Application Safe?" would be the other two). This one has Steve and I delivering it together, which is even more fun.
- This is a really ancient one that I did while I was still at Boston University. I think you have to pay for it too, but to make the list complete, it belongs here.
- A talk on Mobile Computing Security I gave at Black Hat Windows 2002. It is in Real Media though. [:(]
- A webcast copy of the Security Configuration Wizard presentation I gave at TechEd US 2005
- I had forgotten that I did an Ask The Expert webcast on how to prevent hacking in 2004
- An old webcast on Security Risk Management from 2004
- Steve and I did a TechNet webcast on security myths in June 2005
- An audio-only interview on Defense in Depth I did with Tech Republic
- A really old webcast I did for SANS together with a bunch of others on a very old problem in IIS
- I spoke at the Management Information Systems Research Center on Network Threat Modeling as well as Security Myths. The two are combined, and they were supposed to be password protected. I guess they missed the "security" part of those presentations? :-)
That was what I found when doing a quick search. There are a few more old web casts which I will see if I can find at some opportune moment. If you find anything not listed here, please let me know.
