Free IT Camps: Microsoft Datacenter Virtualization around Australia!
Earlier this year we ran a series of Dynamic Datacenter workshops focusing in Hyper-V and the System Center family of products. With the release of System Center 2012 not too far away we decided to run these workshops again. The only difference this time is we changed the name to IT Camps. The content for the first event will be focused on Microsoft Virtualization and won’t be different to the ones we ran earlier this year. Future Camps will focus on Private Cloud Technologies, Datacenter Management and Consumerization of IT. So with that please check out the details below along with how to register.
This two-day workshop aims at providing an in-depth understanding of Microsoft’s server virtualization technologies.
They are the basis of a dynamic infrastructure and provide the building blocks of a private cloud solution. The
workshop covers:
- How Microsoft’s virtualization technologies fit together
- Fundamental hypervisor architecture
- High availability for virtualized infrastructures
- Deployment, management, backup and disaster recovery
- Basics of a private cloud
In addition to getting the fundamentals for these topics you will get a chance to get hands-on with the
technology through a series of labs throughout the day! The presentation and lab manuals will be provided
in digital format and the average level is 300. Come join us for this action packed technical training event
and become a Virtualization hero!
To attend this event you will need to bring your own laptop with you. To connect to the labs you will need
the Remote Desktop Connection Client 7.0 Update installed. This client is built into Windows 7 and is a free
download for Windows XP SP3 and Windows Vista SP1 and SP2.
Please also note that if you attended the Dynamic Datacenter Workshop series earlier this year the content
is very similar. But look for new information coming soon about more IT Camp Topics to be held from early
2012.
