TechNet Magazine: 3 Months worth of articles!

technetjuly

It’s been awhile since I posted about the latest edition of TechNet Magazine. I think I was busy with a little event called Tech.ed and have neglected my regular blogging duties. Sorry about that! Well in this post I wanted to draw your attention to the last 3 issues. There’s always a lot of good information in TechNet Magazine. Below is some highlights from the last 3 months.

July 2011

The July edition focused on Windows y deployment and some of the tools available to help you hit the big green deploy button. Here are some highlights.

The August edition is all about how to develop your yourself and accelerate your career in IT. This is something we often don’t spend too much time on because we are all so busy with our day-to-day work that time often gets away. In fact the other day I was having a 1:1 with my manager and she posed a very simple question. “In FY12 what does career development look like for you”? It’s something I had to think about for a few seconds because really it’s not something I think about too much about. After thinking about it some more I realised this is something I have to think about more often. So this year I’m going to try and do that. Below are some articles from the magazine that will hopefully help me and you with this important soft skill!

September 2011technetsept

And finally this month’s issue is all about SharePoint and Virtualization. Two topics that are hot right now.

So that’s about it. I hope this summary of the last 3 months of the TechNet Magazine is helpful.
