Windows Live Messenger Beta: Invites all out

Thanks for the great response everyone!  I sent my last invitation that I have to this beta out today.  Hope you all enjoy the new Beta.

Since there was such a good response I was thinking about how I could give something back to my readers in the format of a contest.  Some of the ideas I had were as follows.

  • Submit an article on a really cool thing you have done with Microsoft technology – maybe you have a really cool patch management solution; maybe you have done something with security in your organisation.
  • I was thinking about how I could give away prizes – your ideas are welcome
  • Tell me about a horror story you’ve had with Microsoft software – I’m sure this will get alot of comments because its not all gleam and sunshine out there.  It’s important that we know about this.
  • Thinking of running a weekly contest and see what type of response I get – the first theme may be around security because we have an upcoming Security event at the end of February so we could tie into that.

Is there anything else?  Is this a crazy idea?

Any for more Live stuff go to:  There are lots of new beta’s to try out!

bye for now

Hey Jeff, my thoughts are for a "tweak of the week" contest (ok maybe something better named than that).

People could submit their favourite tweak/gpo/featurepack that they have enabled/disabled to give them better value/functionality out of their exisiting Microsoft solutions.
