Microsoft is a platinum sponsor for this event as part of the ongoing relationship that we have with the ACS. Our Managing Director; Steve Vamos will be speaking on Friday about the Business Value of IT which should be interesting.
I’m listening now to the opening keynote session by Paul Glen who is talking about Leading Geeks which is a talk based on his new book on the topic. Hmmm..interesting topic. Can geeks really be lead? I’m not so sure. I think true geeks will do it anyway regardless of what management says about it. We will always play with the latest technology way ahead of everyone else and push it to the absolute limits!
Anyway check out his book and let me know what you think! I bet he wasn’t expecting someone to be blogging in the middle of his session! Ah the power of free press!
