Back from America

Hi folks,

Well I’m back from 2 weeks in America which was interesting to say the least.  I spent the first 2 weeks in sunny Seattle and I can truly say that it was sunny and very warm.  If you are ever going to visit Seattle make sure you go in August or September because the weather is always beautiful.

My main reason for being in Seattle was to attend the bi-annual technical conference know as TechReady.  This is where all us Microsoft techie folks get the latest updates from the product groups.  The sessions were very good with lots and lots of good content.  I went to sessions on security, management, and of course every session I could on Windows Vista.  We all got Beta 1 CD’s at the end of the conference so everyone was really keen to install it on their machines.  Personally I have been testing it on my second laptop and that is going fine right now.  I don’t have the hardware to support the Aero Glass interface but its all good just the same.

The other thing I did while in Seattle was buy a new set of golf clubs!  As you all know golf is my life long passion and it was time to upgrade the sticks to the latest gear.  So what did I choose?  I went with all Taylormade clubs in the bag.

My new clubs are now:

Driver:   Taylormade R7 Quad 9.5 degrees of loft and a stiff shaft
3–Wood:   Taylormade V-Steel with stiff shaft

Irons:   Taylor made RAC LT’s  2 iron – Lob wedge – these are great and I love them

Anyway thats it.  I just wanted to post an update as its been awhile.
