Sydney Biztalk User Group - Inaugural Meeting!

Hi folks,

The new Sydney Biztalk User Group Rocks!  Last night they had the inaugural meeting and 55 people out of 68 registered showed up so this was a great turnout.  The mistro of ceremonies ; Mick Badran did a stellar job in showing a Biztalk solution for a purchase ordering system.  He showed integration with Infopath, Office 2003 and Sharepoint.  He went on to show how this was all tied together within Biztalk 2004.  Great stuff!

Also hats off to Sarah Bond who gave an overview of where Biztalk is going in the future and the general marketing update stuff at the beginning.  And last but certainly not least Mark Burch who is a Biztalk support Engineer in Sydney who lead a discussion on what everyone wants to get out of the group.  From this discussion we have a good mix of people that want everything from best practices for Biztalk deployments to the business side of deploying Biztalk.

Also thanks has to go to Dimension Data for providing the venue and in particular Caroline Price for her help behind the scenes.

If you missed out and want to register for future meetings then checkout https://sydbiz.org for dates and times.  Also if you did attend remember to provide feedback about the group in the forum sections.
