Windows Service Packs are designed to provide incremental enhancements in functionality and, increasingly, in security. Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 is focused on providing security, performance and reliability enhancements for the server software. Its primary focus is to make products more secure by default and give enterprises more options for locking down servers. Windows XP Service Pack 2 with Advanced Security Technologies helps you secure your client PCs against viruses, hackers and worms. In this session, we shall explore some of the additional functionality offered by both of these service packs and how we can better manager Windows XP clients using Windows Server 2003 SP1.
