    You would have to manually re-create the update discribed here: blogs.technet.com/…/how-to-remove-orphaned-scup-updates.aspx

    You can resign those updates still in WSUS, if you can get them back into SCUP.

  3. If the signing cert is changed... says:

    If the signing cert is changed and the trust is lost… what are the manual steps to remove the remaining custom updates? That is if it is still possibility?

    I also changed the cert without expiring the updates, also I deleted them from SCUP 2011 console. Now with new cert I am not able to deploy those updates. When I am trying to publish them with new cert it throwing certificate conflict error.

    Please suggest.
