Well it is ready to rock our new media player. It was interesting reading the vibe on the blogosphere. The general concensus is that Microsoft are better positioned than most to provide solid competition to Apples Itunes. Some of the new features look great such as

  • New Thumbnail and Album Art and personilaztion features
  • new shuffle sync and reverse sync options
  • Simplified navigation capabilities
  • New formats for ripping and music playback
  • dedicated category views for all media types, including music, photos and video
