Silverlight Streaming SDK has new home

Just wanted to let you know that the Silverlight Streaming SDK has up-sticks and wandered on over to the MSDN under the Windows Live node.  The SDK includes a nice primer as to what Silverlight Streaming really is and also the architecture.  Part of this features information about the content delivery network which, through our hosting partners, provides superb streaming experiences no matter where you are because the user is directed to their nearest server for streaming.

As a developer you can take advantage of 700Kbps outbound streaming which serves up nice HD quality videos and rich applications very nicely.  Currently this is free and when we move out of beta it looks like there will be options for free and ad-funded approaches to delivering these experiences to the end user.

There's also a new blog just for Silverlight Streaming SDK updates and news communications so it's worth subscribing to this if you want to stay informed about any changes or announcements the team make.
