Vista After Hours – The Return!!!

imageWe're back by popular demand!  Matt and I are being unleashed on 4 cities up and down the UK to deliver a stonking array of innovations, hardware, gadgets all tied together by the magic of Microsoft software.  Last time around we played to packed crowds in Reading and Leeds, and this time we're going bigger, badder and further than ever before with dates in:

Live Map of the tour

I worked out using Live Maps that we're covering ~23,500 square miles of the UK with this tour - that's quite a catchment area!

This is going to be good - Matt and I are readying the demos, hardware and gadgets to leave you inspired and amazed by what's possible when you put all this stuff together!  Here's a glimpse of what is on the menu:

  • Windows Vista
    • Search - new and improved!
    • Photography - new and improved!
    • Movie and DVD Making
    • SideShow - new devices!
    • Sidebar - new gadgets!
    • Media Center - new apps!
  • Windows Home Server
    • New Add-ins!
  • Xbox 360
    • Xbox Live
    • Media Center Extended
    • Zune integration
  • Windows Vista vs Xbox 360
    • Games for Windows Live
    • James and Matt battle to the death to decide the best gaming platform!
  • Virtual Earth
    • The best mapping platform on the net

And more!!!!

You tell us what to talk about

If there's something you would like to cover in the session then let me know by commenting on the post or writing on the Facebook group wall (see below) - whatever you like!

Facebook Group

Are you a user of Facebook - then you might want to logon and join the Friends of Vista After Hours Group - I've also created some events on Facebook so you can join and take part in the Vista After Hours community!

Tranquil PC

I also wanted to shout out to Tranquil PC who got in touch with Matt and I to lend us some Windows Home Server kit - thanks very much guys!  Their stuff looks pretty nice and has some impressive energy stats (consumes only 24W!!!) and is optimised for silent operation with really good ventilation.

Here's a link to the map if you missed it before 🙂
