Channel 9 gets a new look

Channel 9 has a new look which is in beta and it is very good.  They've moved away from the Lego feel and to a more clean look and feel more akin to Channel 10.  Some of the banner images they've got featuring the Channel 9 guy are pretty funny including the parody of the Beatles Abby Road album art, but in Redmond - nice touch.

For those of you who don't know Channel 9 is the way that Microsoft became more accessible to the outside world.  Some crazy guy had the idea of taking a video camera around the halls of MS HQ in Redmond and before legal could shut it down it became wildly successful.  Since then it's spawned Channel 10 and provided the catalyst to the huge blogging phenomenon at Microsoft with nearly 5,000 bloggers.  It's even inspired my team to go and create Partner TV, something that I now run in the UK.

A great idea and a bit of risk taking goes a hell of a long way!
