Last thing yesterday (UK time), Microsoft announced the aquistion of the BI analytics company, ProClarity.  Since 1995, they have built up an impressive portfolio of analytical and dashboard tools that harness and build upon the capabilities SQL Server 2005 BI platform.

This integration will accelerate the already tremendous growth Microsoft has had in its BI platform as all the benefits from ProClarity's solutions come under the SQL Server 2005 umbrella.
