Looking back – Global Azure Bootcamp 2015 India (April 25, 2015)

It was once again the time of the year when the Communities and MVPs around the globe joined hands and shared their experiences of Microsoft Azure in form of Global Azure Bootcamp (AKA GAB). As always, GAB not only exhibited great amount of enthusiasm and the deeper sessions across various verticals of Microsoft Azure platform but also set new benchmarks for collaboration.

The sessions delivered across these camps were not only limited to Microsoft Azure, Media Services, Mobile services, Websites but also went far beyond touching technologies and specializations like ALM, Power Shell, IoT and many more.

In India, GAB had a remarkable presence with around 700 Azure enthusiast joining in 6 different camps including Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune and Udaipur. It was yet another example of collaboration between communities, MVPs and Microsoft with 17 MVPs and 11 MSFTs participating as speakers and covered multiple dimensions of Azure.

We gave away many goodies and swags to the attendees in each location apart from free 30 Day Azure Passes with the help of local subsidiaries. As many as ~78% attendees have already activated their Azure Passes and relishing the amazing capabilities of Microsoft Azure platform.

Global Azure Bootcamp 2015 not only set an example of successful community events but also opened gates for better collaboration between MVPs, Community and Microsoft.
