Even though its holiday time but i am as busy as any other time of the year..
I am working very closely with my team here in Microsoft about planning the Practice Accelerator Event for Virtualization that will be coming soon to our Microsoft Partners.
So what is Practice Accelerator for Windows Server Virtualization ?
The Practice Accelerator for Microsoft® Windows® Server Virtualization is a service offering that will help Microsoft Partners to envision, plan, and develop a virtualized server architecture and deployment model for their customers. This Practice Accelerator contains the complete set of document templates, job aids, and other guidance needed to deliver a successful consulting engagement.
The Practice Accelerator service offering takes into consideration scalability, security, and availability. The engagement scope and length is customized to suit the company size and structure. In all instances, resources need to be available to help the team cover scenarios that fall outside the standard scope or design, as well as develop operation plans for the solution.
SVAM is a collection of best practices, processes, documents, and tools gathered from consultants in the field to assist in delivering a more reliable, dependable, successful Virtualization engagement. The traditional engagement model required individual consultants to work with each customer, independently, using their own custom toolkit and knowledge base, to deliver a custom solution. With SVAM, consultants can use standard documents, templates, processes, tools, and other material to deliver a superior engagement.
