MGT203 – System Center Configuration Manager v.Next Overview
The next release of Configuration Manager is now in Beta! Hopefully, by now you have had a chance to experience this next release of ConfigMgr, the world’s leading systems management toolset. As we enter a new era of work styles, with people working in new ways from new locations on new devices, the System Center flagship product is evolving. In this session we present a technical overview of the next release of user-centric client management. We will focus on the new improvements, infrastructure simplification and expanded capabilities, and highlight all of this with demos. This session promises to be highly attended, demonstration focused and very entertaining.
MGT301 – System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R3 Technical Update
System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R3 is the latest release of our flagship System Center product. This session will give a technical overview of the latest features included in the new R3 release. Topics will include Power Management, Scale and Performance improvements, and OS Deployment enhancements. This session will also cover the most recent additions to the core product, such as the Dashboard and MDT 2010, as well as providing critical planning information to help your organization prepare for the next release of Configuration Manager, (v.Next), currently in beta.

MGT303 – System Center Configuration Manager v.Next Site Hierarchy Technical Overview
The next release of Configuration Manager is now in Beta! A strong engineering investment has been made in site hierarchy architecture to significantly improve the way Configuration Manager moves data around your organization’s network – from the datacenter to the managed clients. In this session we will give you a technical overview of the new SQL technology enhancements, as well as the new Role Based Administration experience. We will also cover the key concepts of the central administration model and look at how primary and secondary sites relationships have evolved. This is a ‘must attend’ session for anyone who wants to understand the changes and the impact they have on site infrastructure.
MGT302 – System Center Configuration Manager v.Next: Application Management
The next release of Configuration Manager is now in Beta! This release promises to improve application management significantly, for organizations of any size. The most used capability in the history of SMS and Configuration Manager has been updated to support your organization however, wherever and on whatever device is right for you. To this end, the Application Model has been designed to provide different deployment types (MSI, Script, AppV, Mobile and more) to different scenarios. Using this model, conditions, rules and predefined relationships can be dynamically calculated at delivery to determine the best application experience for the user on the hardware and connection they are using. In this technical overview of the new Software Distribution capability, we will cover the key concepts including: Deployment Types; Deployments; Requirements; Conditions; and the associated functionality required to support your new generation workforce. Demonstrations will play a key role in the session, including that of the new Silverlight Software Catalog.
