If you want to let remote team members watch your presentation, PowerPoint 2010 has a great feature for you. All they need to view your slideshow is Internet access, a Live ID (or account on another supported presentation service), and the latest version of Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari for Mac.
Here’s how it works:
Open the slide deck you’re presenting, go to the Slide Show tab, and click the Broadcast Slide Show button:
Now select your broadcast service. If you don’t have one already, you can choose the PowerPoint Broadcast Service. All you need for this is a Windows Live ID (get one for free):
Click Start Broadcast and then sign in with your Windows Live ID:
Finally, share the URL with your attendees:
For best results, send the link in an Outlook appointment so that everyone has the link and the time in the same place. Now up to 50 live attendees can watch your show.
Adjust your display settings to match your presentation style (for instance, you can check Use Presenter View if you have two monitors to see your notes and a timer on one screen while the full-screen presentation appears on a second). When you’re finished, just click End Broadcast:
