Remember the first time you took that shortcut to the office supply store? The one that cuts behind the nursery and requires a quick jog right where the dry cleaner used to be and is now a coffee place? Chances are, that first time you tried saving time this way, things didn’t feel all that fast. Maybe you had to look twice a couple of times.
But now, there you are, taking that shortcut every time you need a new ream of paper. Was it worth it to learn the shortcut? Well, sure. Time saved picking up office supplies leaves more time for working hard at looking productive. At least while the boss is nearby.

You can also create new keyboard shortcuts to open programs. Sure, go crazy. Learn how.
Finally, here’s a little-known factoid to help you learn shortcuts quickly and easily: The average person can memorize a simple operation by repeating it about twenty times.
So! Learning a few of these timesaving shortcuts won’t take you long. Because you’re anything but average.
