Last week, 8 Developer products related hot-fix KB articles were released, and 4 are forWindows Embedded system, 2 are for Visual Studio, and 2 are for .Net Framework. Below are the details:

 

Windows Embedded system - 4 KB articles:

· 981841  You cannot access files that are shared on a Windows Embedded CE 6.0-based device from a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows 7

· 982228  On a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3-based device, a memory leak occurs when you use the loopback address to send and to receive many TCP/IP packets

· 982527  An application that uses a redirected serial port on a terminal server does not receive data from a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3-based device

· 980997  If you pass a Unicode authentication string to call the ldap_bind_sW function in Windows Embedded CE 6.0, the authentication operation fails

 

Visual Studio - 2 KB articles:

· 981077  Incorrect results are returned by a Visual C++ 2008 SP1 application

· 981651  The Visual Studio 2008 SP1 IDE crashes when you try to open a large TFS build report

 

.Net Framework - 2 KB articles:

· 981429  Some XPS file text is printed incorrectly by a .NET Framework 3.0-based WPF application

· 981575  A memory leak occurs in a .NET Framework 2.0-based application that uses the AesCryptoServiceProvider class
