Last week, 22 Windows 6 and Windows 7 related hot-fix KB articles were released. Below are the details:

 

Windows Vista - 1 KB article:

· 974306  October 2009 Cumulative Update for Media Center for Windows Vista

 

Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008- 16 KB articles:

· 972135  Backups fail and Event ID 12293 is logged on a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008

· 974114  When you use the "Run as administrator" option to run an application that uses an environment variable in Windows Vista or in Windows Server 2008, you encounter various errors

· 974178  Error code 1450 after you transfer data by using the named pipes protocol between a client computer and a server that are running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008
