Jul. 20 - Jul. 16 Hot-Fix KB articles Weekly Release - Windows Legacy Products

Last week, 7 Windows legacy products related hot-fix KB articles were released, including 1 for Windows XP, 2 forWindows Server 2003, 3 forSystems Center, and 1 for Internet Explorer 8. Below are the details:

Windows XP - 1 KB article:

· 959562  The screen is corrupted when you use the remote control tool to view or work on a multi-monitor configured computer

Windows Server 2003 - 2 KB articles:

· 971229  The private key description field always displays "CryptoAPI Private Key," and you cannot change the text on computers that are running Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP x64 Professional

· 971291  The cache information for only the first 32 processors is reported if the number of processors is greater than 32 on a computer that is running Windows Server 2003 SP2

System Center - 3 KB articles:

· 971300  Prompted queries that are based on customized Hardware Inventory classes do not prompt users for values in System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Service Pack 1 systems

· 970317  Packages on distribution points are not updated with the latest source version in System Center Configuration Manager 2007 RTM systems

· 970635  Restart Coordinator prevents a System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Service Pack 1-based client computer from restarting because it incorrectly concludes that a job is running

Internet Explorer - 1 KB article:

· 972636  A Compatibility View list update is available for Windows Internet Explorer 8: July 21, 2009
