Jul. 13 - Jul. 19 Hot-Fix KB articles Weekly Release - Windows Legacy Products

Hi Everyone,

 

Last week, 6 Windows legacy products related hot-fix KB articles were released, including 2 for Windows XP, 2 forWindows Server 2003,and 2 for System Center. Below are the details:

 

Windows XP - 2 KB articles:

· 969238  A data transfer is corrupted when you transfer data from or to a USB device on a computer that is running Windows XP

· 968967  The CPU usage of an application or a service that uses MSXML 6.0 to handle XML requests reaches 100% in Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Windows XP Service Pack 3, or other systems that have MSXML 6.0 installed

 

Windows Server 2003 - 2 KB articles:

· 968995  The Terminal Server Licensing MMC snap-in or the TS Licensing Manager MMC snap-in uses NT LAN Manager instead of the Kerberos protocol to pass authentication, respectively, in Windows Server 2003 or in Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008

· 970998  You cannot stop safely a removable storage device on a computer that is running Windows Server 2003 after you delete a folder on the removable storage device

 

System Center - 2 KB articles:

· 970636  Some programs are not executed when the "If an application fails, continue installing other applications in the list" option is enabled in System Center Configuration Manager 2007

· 971689  The Task Sequence Media Wizard incorrectly calculates the required space and generates many CD or DVD images if the task sequence references multiple programs in the same package in System Center Configuration Manager 2007
