Feb. 6 - Feb. 12 Hot-Fix KB articles Weekly Release - Messaging Server

Last week, 13 messaging product related hot-fix KB articles were released, 5 are for Exchange Server 2007 and 8 are for Exchange Server 2003. Below are the details:

 

Exchange Server 2007 - 5 KB articles:

· 955443  Some free/busy messages are not replicated from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2003 servers after some mailboxes are migrated from Exchange Server 2003 to Exchange Server 2007

· 956624  The Microsoft Exchange Transport service crashes continuously after you enable journal rule or deploy an antivirus application on an Exchange Server 2007 server

· 950675  A downloaded .xls file attachment is empty when you open the file by using Outlook Web Access on Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1

· 957748  The custom message class of contact object is overwritten by the normal IPM.Contact class when an Exchange 2007 server replicates the contact object to any other public store

· 959241  Description of Update Rollup 6 for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1

 

Exchange Server 2003 - 8 KB articles:

· 939559 You cannot install Exchange Server 2003 Exchange System Manager on a Windows Vista-based computer

· 943127 A MAPI application crashes on an Exchange Server 2003 server

· 947485 The Wmiprvse.exe process crashes on an Exchange Server 2003 server

· 953778 The SMTP service crashes intermittently and event errors 7031 and 1000 are logged on a Windows Server 2003 based-server that is running Exchange Server 2003

· 948451 A meeting request is displayed as a standard e-mail message when a Domino 7.x user sends a meeting request to an Exchange 2003 user

· 951558 Messages stay in the local delivery queue on an Exchange Server 2003 server if the References field of those messages is larger than 8 KB

· 951707 The spelling checker in Outlook Web Access recommends that the word Tosco be changed to Tesco

· 954727 A malformed thread-topic field is shown if a message is sent from a mobile device that is using Exchange ActiveSync
