Hi Everyone,

 

Last week, 4 SQL Server related hot-fix KB articles were released and 3 are for SQL Server 2005 and the other 1 are for SQL Server 2008. Below are the details:

 

SQL Server 2005 - 3 KB articles:

· 959595  Error message when you view a SQL Server Reporting Services report in the ReportViewer control in Visual Studio 2008: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

· 960552  Error message when you create a WMI event alert by using the sp_add_alert stored procedure in a SQL Server 2005 cluster: "The @wmi_query could not be executed in the @wmi_namespace provided"

· 960611  An incorrect result is returned when you run a Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) query in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services

SQL Server 2008 - 1 KB article:

· 961638  You receive a “Class not registered” error after you install SQL Server Management Studio 2008 on a computer running SQL Server Management Studio 2005
