August 25 - August 31 Hot-Fix KB articles Weekly Release - Windows Legacy Products

Last week, 9 Windows Legacy products related hot-fix KB articles were released, including 3 for Windows XP, 5 for Windows Server 2003, 1 for SMS. Below are the details:

 

Windows XP - 3 KB articles:

· 955576  TAPI-based applications stop responding, and you cannot disconnect telephone calls on a Windows XP-based telephony server

· 955535 Server Message Block (SMB) redirector functions time out more quickly than expected on a Windows XP-based computer that has multiple processors installed

· 955043 A memory leak may occur when you run an application that uses the DHTML Edit control on a Windows XP-based computer

Windows Server 2003 - 5 KB articles:

· 955536  VBScript throws a floating-point exception when the C runtime returns a stale floating-point status flag in a Windows Server 2003 environment

· 955326 The Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM) Synchronizer tool (Adamsync.exe) cannot synchronize attributes that use the DN-String type or DN-Binary type in Windows Server 2003

· 952312 The Active Directory Users and Computers MMC snap-in sets an incorrect ISO country code for Jerset, Guernsay and Isle of Man in Windows Server 2003

· 951879 The Site field of the link target is displayed as <Unknown> in the DFS Management snap-in on a Windows Server 2003 R2-based computer

· 951759 When an application uses GDI+ to print to a color printer on a Windows Server 2003-based, Windows Vista-based, or Windows Server 2008-based computer, ICM color matching is not performed

System Management Server - 1 KB article:

· 954718  You cannot use the Out of Band Management console in the Configuration Manager 2007 console to connect to computers that use versions of Intel Active Management Technology (AMT) that are earlier than version 3.2.1
