August 19 – August 25 Hot-Fix KB articles Weekly Release - Windows 6.0

Hi Everyone,

Last week, 7 Windows 6.0 products related hot-fix KB articles were released. Below are the details:

Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008 - 9 KB articles:

· 956767  The VerFindFile function always returns the value "VFF_CURNEDEST (0x1)" on a Windows Vista-based or Windows Server 2008-based computer

· 956476  Some text on the Advanced tab for a network adapter's Properties page may be truncated in certain language versions of Windows Vista

· 956475  The "Win percentage" information is not displayed in the Mahjong Titans game on a Windows Vista-based computer that uses the Romanian language pack

· 956473  The "Alimentazione da rete elettrica (minuti)" box is not completely visible on a portable computer that is running an Italian version of Windows Vista

· 955352  A Windows Vista-based DHCP client does not accept a new IP address until two DHCPOFFER packets are exchanged

· 952923  Windows Security Center does not detect the antivirus application that is installed on a Windows Vista-based computer

· 951163  When you try to use the MSTSC command from Terminal Services Client 6.0 to connect to the local Windows XP-based computer, a black screen may appear for several minute

· 954962 Fax applications may randomly crash when you use the application to send or receive fax documents on a Windows Server 2008-based or Windows Vista SP1-based computer

· 956115 The system may stop responding during restart when a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 or Windows Vista Service Pack 1 has a PCI Express interface
