August 18 - August 24 Hot-Fix KB articles Weekly Release - Windows Legacy Products

Hi Everyone,

 

Last week, 8 Windows Legacy products related hot-fix KB articles were released, including 7 for SMS, 1 for Windows XP. Below are the details:

 

System Management Server - 7 KB articles:

· 956240  The SQL server process may consume high CPU usage on the System Center Operations Manager 2007 database server when you make System Center Operations Manager 2007 configuration changes

· 955388 Error message occurs when you use SCCM 2007 Service Pack 1 configuration manager console to check software distribution point settings on a System Center Configuration Manager 2007 RTM site or a Systems Management Server 2003 site

· 955355  A long distinguished name (DN) that is longer than 100 characters and discovered from Active Directory for an AMT host causes the SMS_EXECUTIVE service to crash in System Center Configuration Manager 2007

· 955126  The SMS_Executive service (Smsexec.exe) process in System Center Configuration Manager 2007 may unexpectedly crash with Intel Active Management Technology (Intel AMT) related software installed

· 954347 You cannot delete the package from a distribution point of a child primary site from a central site in Systems Management Server 2003 after you install the hotfix in KB 936465

· 954903 The Monitoringhost.exe process may not work efficiently and consumes all CPU usage in System Center Operations Manager 2007 Service Pack 1 when a large amounts of performance data is being created through a managed data source module and lots of workflows

· 951840 Validation of Windows Mobile device certificates and authentication of Mobile Device Manager Device Management Server may fail on System Center Mobile device manager 2008

Windows XP - 1 KB article:

· 951163  getKB -Black screen after using MSTSC.EXE from RDP6 when trying to connect to same Windows XP machine
