July 28 – August 3 Hot-Fix KB articles Weekly Release – Windows Legacy Products

Last week, 6 Windows Legacy products related hot-fix KB articles were released, including 3 for Windows Server 2003, 1 for SMS, 1 for MOM and 1 is for IE. Below are the details:


 


Windows Server 2003 – 3 KB articles:


·         955516 A computer that is running an Itanium-based version of Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2 may hang during startup while a local machine check event occurs in the boot strap processor


·         955360 Windows Script 5.7 files are not signed after you install Windows Script 5.7 in Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP


·         951162 On a Windows Server 2003-based computer, after you enable the Dynamic Backlog settings, the System Handle count and the non-paged pool usage may increase dramatically


 


 Systems management server – 1 KB article:


·          955115 The “Client Push Installation” operation fails when both multiple management points and customized ports are configured in a System Center Configuration Manager 2007 site


 


Microsoft Operations Manager – 1 KB article:


·         953140 MOM 2005 Service Pack 1 Support for Windows Server 2008


 


Internet Explorer – 1 KB article:


·         945015 An extra forward slash mark (/) is appended to the query path of a WebDAV PROPFIND request when you visit a SharePoint Portal Server site by using Internet Explorer on a Windows-based computer

    KB954193 and KB945015 seem to be released for Windows XP in the week of July 28-Aug 3.

    KB954193 is for Access. So it is not listed here. 😛

    KB945015 is for IE on Windows platform. I will add it to this post.
