Hi Everyone,

 

Last week, 4 SQL Server related hot-fix KB articles were released and they are for SQL Server 2005. Below are the details:

 

SQL Server 2005 - 4 KB articles:

· 954950 Error message when you run a distributed query in SQL Server 2005: "OLE DB provider 'SQLNCLI' for linked server '<Linked Server>' returned message 'No transaction is active'"

· 954883 Error message when SQL Server 2005 synchronizes a mirrored database: "Failed Assertion = 'result == LCK_OK'"

· 954669 An ongoing MS DTC transaction is orphaned in SQL Server 2005

· 932871 When you reference a set alias that is referenced in a calculation in SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services, you may receive unexpected results
