Hi Everyone,

 

Last week, 9 Windows Server products related hot-fix KB articles were released, including 2 for Windows Server 2003, 6 for Windows Server 2008 and 1 for Data Protection Manager. Below are the details:

 

Windows Server 2003 - 2 KB articles:

· 954091 You cannot access the correct DFS shares from a Windows Server 2003-based DFS client after the link targets are updated

· 953325 Windows Server 2003 may become unresponsive because a Paged Pool depletion while an application calls the GetFileAttributesEx function and the MoveFileEx function on many files

Windows Server 2008 - 6 KB articles:

· 952234 When you establish a terminal session that uses the smart card authentication to log on to a Windows Server 2008-based terminal server, the terminal session stops responding

· 951149 Stop Error 0x0000000A occurs on a Windows Server 2008-based Terminal Server when the Server is under heavy load

· 953407 A Group Policy "Documents" setting is localized incorrectly as "Recently used files" on a computer that is running a Japanese version of Windows Server 2008 or of Windows Vista

· 950179 When you run the Validate a Configuration Wizard on a Windows Server 2008-based computer or on a Windows Vista-based computer, the validation does not pass

· 953153 Error message when you change the running user context of a scheduled task to another domain account on a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008: "The specified account name is not valid"

· 953589 An access violation may occur if you pass an INTEGER value to the ValuePtr parameter of the SQLSetConnectAttr function in Windows Vista or in Windows Server 2008

Data Protection Manager- 1 KB article:

· 953871 System Center Data Protection Manager 2007 is unable to back up system state if SQL databases are located on the system volume and logs are located on a separate volume
