June 24 - June 30 Hot-Fix KB articles Weekly Release - Windows Server

Last week, 6 Windows Server products related hot-fix KB articles were released, including 1 for Windows Server 2003, 1 for Windows Server 2008 and 4 for System Management Server. Below are the details:

 

Windows Server 2003 - 1 KB article:

· 947390 You receive a "Stop 0x000000C2" error message on a Windows Server 2003 R2-based computer if a compressed folder resides on an NTFS volume that has FSRM quota management enabled

Windows Server 2008 - 1 KB article:

· 949459 The new 64-bit CPU from VIA Technologies and the system model that is based on this kind of CPU are not recognized in Windows Vista Service Pack 1 or in Windows Server 2008

System Management Server - 4 KB articles:

· 954214 The SMS_Site_Component_Manager service crashes when you try to install Configuration Manager 2007 Service Pack 1 or to reinstall a specific component after a failed installation attempt

· 950605 A software update deployment cannot be performed on clients that are members of a System Center Configuration Manager 2007 collection during the timeframe of a maintenance window

· 953592 You cannot author or publish software updates of the .msu file type by using the Custom Updates Publishing Tool that is available in Systems Management Server 2003 R2

· 953591 You cannot use the PatchInstall.exe program to install custom updates of the .msu file type on some Systems Management Server 2003 clients
