A series performance issues have been reported to Microsoft customer support. From these performance issues, we figured out a hot one which happens on Windows Server 2003-based computers and has high impact on many users since the beginning of 2008. Here, I’d like to share it with you as below.
When the problem occurs, the computer cannot be accessed through file sharing or terminal server. By reviewing the support incidents, we found that the issue is caused by GravitixService.exe process, which is from Patchlink Update Server 6.4.
