Dec. 15 - Dec. 21 Hot-Fix Weekly Release - Windows Client

Merry Xmas, Everyone!

This is Cristy. I'm very glad to do this post in Christmas eve.

I reviewed the comments on Tony's Exchange blogs today. In the comments, Grimson said that it seems the list in this web site is not the full list for Exchange. Yes, our purpose is to share the articles for the problems that have bigger impacts. In Microsoft, once a problem is exposed, the PMs (program managers) will have some time to discuss how to resolve/work around the problem, we use the word "Triage" to explain this process. After PM triage, our product group will work on and release a hot-fix only for the high-impact problem. To introduce the hot-fix, we will publish a hot-fix KB articles. That's why our lists is not a automation checking that will generate a full list of the KB articles, there is a focus

(I have discussed with Tony, he will post a blog to introduce Microsoft hot-fix in several days, let's wait a bit.)

Now, let's come to the hot-fix KB articles released last week. Since the Christmas holiday is comming, only two articles have been released for Windows Vista as below. Hope it can be helpful.

Best,
Cristy Mu
