New Video Interviews – Channel 9 & 10

Two new video interviews about Windows Home Server went live this morning. One on the enthusiast targeted blog site Channel 10 and one on the developer site Channel 9.

Over on 10 you can catch a video interview of yours truly talking about the online availability of the HP MediaSmart Server.  In the video you'll see the following

  • My horrible camera presence.
  • What the HP MediaSmart Server drive carriers look like in action. I hot plug a drive during the interview.
  • A home server I put together myself that I use at work.
  • The "Hockey Puck" prototype that people just can't seem to get enough of.

Chris Gray, a lead developer on the Windows Home Server team and a veteran of Channel 9, discusses building Add-Ins for Windows Home Server in this video. We know that Visual Basic is the most popular programming language in the world so in this video Chris focuses on how to build an Add-In using VB.NET. He even provides the source code... Good stuff!
